Styling a Studio Space on The Block 2020
On The Block this season, the Studio and Garage spaces have been one of the last areas of the homes to be completed and styled. Earlier in the renovation, South Australian contestants Jade and Daniel came to FRAMING TO A T for a custom made TV-Mirror and during the second last week of the build, Jade came in store to shop for some pieces to style and complete their studio space.
The studio functions as a bedroom, living space and kitchen, with an ensuite situated at one side.
By keeping the colours light in this smaller space, without too many patterns, Jade has created a studio that feels light and spacious.
Using the furniture placement to create separate zones also helps in producing a well-planned, multi-use space. Jade steered away from colour patterns, instead looking to introduce neutral coloured furniture pieces that brought texture and interest, without crowding the studio space.
Within this space, Jade sourced her baskets, plants, bedsides and the beautiful rattan dining chairs from FRAMING TO A T. In store we love to complement our framed art selection with beautiful occasional furniture and home accessories. We look to source furniture and homewares and from Australian businesses who align with our values of creating quality product to last a lifetime.
The rattan chairs were a relaxed choice for this casual dining space, the bedsides were an earthy choice and were the perfect balance to the woven bedhead. The textured baskets and indoor plants were the perfect way to finish this space, with exquisite detail and a touch of greenery.
